*After the first commercial break of the evening, "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar is once again shown backstage, but this time, standing by him is none other than the legendary, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Brock with the WCW Television World title around his left shoulder and a confident expression up on his face.*

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time. He is none other than the newly-crowned WCW Television World champion, the first-ever champion of WCW Saturday Night, 'The Next Big Thing' Brock Lesnar! Now, Brock, it's always a pleasure to have you here and for me to interview you, and I would like to take this opportunity for taking the time to do this interview. Now, even though that this is your third interview for the evening, it's your first scheduled one. And my first question is, how does it feel to be the WCW Television World champion and the first-ever champion of Saturday Night? Describe how it feels."
"TNBT" || Brock Lesnar ||
"Describe how it feels, huh? Describe how it feels? Well, Mean Gene, the feeling of being the WCW Television World champion and the first-ever champion of WCW Saturday Night is indescribable, but I'll try my best to get as close to describing it. The feeling... it's great. It's unimaginable. It's something that will never be taken away from me. With just one match in between, I became the first-ever champion of WCW Saturday Night, the WCW Television World champion, beating Scott Steiner winning the Southern Heavyweight championship just by a few minutes. It's... it's an honor, and I'm sure that Scott Steiner feels just as honored that me and him are the only champions of WCW Saturday Night. It's a great feeling, Mean Gene. It really is.
"Mean" || Gene Okerlund ||
"I'm sure it is. To tell you the truth, I can't even IMAGINE what it feels like to be the WCW Television World champion myself."
"TNBT" || Brock Lesnar ||
"Well, don't you worry about that, Mean Gene, because that will never, ever happen in a million years, in the near future, in the past, nor anywhere or anytime else. Trust me. I know. Haha."
"Mean" || Gene Okerlund ||
"Gee. Thanks for your support, Brock."
"TNBT" || Brock Lesnar ||
"Haha. No problem, Mean Gene. No problem. Haha."
"Mean" || Gene Okerlund ||
"Anyway, the last time that I had interviewed you was three weeks ago and I asked what it felt to be in the first match of the first-ever tournament on WCW Saturday Night. Well, TONIGHT'S question is somewhat similar to that one, but it's a little bit different - how do you feel about WINNING the first-ever tournament in WCW Saturday Night, the Television Title Tournament?"
"TNBT" || Brock Lesnar ||
"Well, Mean Gene, winning the Triple-T was great, but, um... it felt even greater since it was a tournament for THIS very title that you see around my shoulder right now, and not just some any other pointless tournament. This tournament actually meant something, and I'm glad that I went in for the kill just when it started, I just went went out to that ring, demanding to be signed by Eric Bischoff, but James J. Dillon comes out saying that if I win my first match next week, I will get signed, so I won the first match of the tournament and I got signed. I feel so fortunate that I started at the right place at the right time, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way."
"Mean" || Gene Okerlund ||
"That's a very interesting story, Brock, and folks, you can check out Brock Lesnar's full timeline in WCW at WCW.com. Alright, Brock, so my last question is, is there anything else that you would like to add to this interview, perhaps comments about your opponent tonight in the non-title main event match, David Flair?"
"TNBT" || Brock Lesnar ||
"Yes, Mean Gene. Indeed there is. Flair! Get ready, boy, because the time is ticking away... the time is coming, and it's about to come VERY, very soon. Get ready to feel the most excruciating pain and punishment you have yet to suffer, because I promise you that that's exactly what you'll be feeling tonight, when I kick you ass and make you submit, knock you out, or pin you to the mat. Hell, I might even do ALL of those things as far as I'm concerned, but whether I do or whether I don't, one thing's for sure - I WILL walk out the winner!"
*Brock stares down the camera with a look of intensity on his face as the scene fades to a backstage segment.*
