(We come to see Larry Zybsiko and Mike Tenay together doing some commentary on a match up between Bart Starr and Mike Davis. The match comes to an end as Davis and Starr battle to a count out draw and then the team is on the screen.)
Larry: What a match! Those two guys just gave it their all and that's exactaly what's needed to make it here in WCW.
Mike: That's right Living Legend, WCW is the home of the greatest talent in the world. And speaking of which you have a surprise for us tonight don't you?
Larry: As a matter of fact I do..
(Larry gets up from the booth and walks over to the interview position with his mic in hand as he faces the small studio audience with a grin on his face.)
Larry: Wrestling fans, tonight I bring a special treat to you. I'm brining you the man who's made his mark on professional wrestling as the only 16 time World Heavyweight Champion..
(Fans are on their feet already as the music hits.)
Larry: I bring to you, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair!
(Ric Flair steps out alone this time without Arn Anderson by his side as he's dressed in a very nice custom made suit by Brooks Brothers. It's a navy blue suit jacket and pants with red shirt and white tie. There's a black scarf in the front breast pocket and black shoes. He steps out on the set and spins one time revealing his 18kt gold Gucci watch on his right wrist, rope designed 14kt gold bracelet on his left wrist, and a huge diamond Kentucky Cluster ring with 14kt gold band on his left ring finger. He's smiling large as he shakes Larry's hand.)
Ric: Wooooo!
Larry: Welcome to Saturday Night, Nature Boy. After facing Christian Cage in a spectacular match earlier in the week on Nitro. I've asked you to come out here and share some thoughts with us.
Ric: Thanks Legend, I appreciate the invite to a program that I've helped build and nurture since day one. WCW Saturday Night is the ultimate showcase for WCW during the week because all of the brightest and the best are seen right here reguardless of what Nitro has become. It's funny Larry because I was in the back talking to my good friends Arn Anderson and JJ Dillion about old times and then I had a heart to heart with my boy David Flair, the next World Television Champion.. *fans cheer breifly* And we talked turkey about one Brock Lesnar and the rest of WCW's roster. But that's for another time and another place because right now I'm talking about this.. See I've been looking over this way alot in recent weeks and I've seen the heritage and new blood of pro wrestling beginning to rise up and meet the call of duty. It's like a World War is about to take place.. And in speaking of a World War.. There's World War 3 coming around but in order to make it there you have to pick a partner and compete in the Lethal Lottery at the Bash at the Beach. Which brings me to a delimma because you see I could very well easily turn to Arn Anderson and have him watch my back, I could go to Bret "Hitman" Hart, or I could go to my son David Flair.. And what I'd like to know is if David could come out here right now as I'd like to have him by my side in this tag team war for the Bash at the Beach. Because there's nothing like bringing the family to a war.
Larry: Well.. Lets see folks.. David Flair would you come out here please?
(Everyone waits as they look to the entrance way for David to appear on the set..)
