WCW Saturday Night's video entrance begins as we see the logo fly up. We immediately go into footage from last week. We see the referee disqualifying Rampage Jackson. We see Ted Dibiase, Jr. getting the cheap win. Balls rolls up Tyler Black after a Nut Cracker Suite and Ric Flair getting the pin via roll up. The screen quickly fades in as we see the crowd roaring wildly in behind Larry Zbysko and Mike Tenay.
::Mike Tenay:: "Fans, welcome to another exciting edition of WCW Saturday Night. We've got a special line up this week as we'll see the semi- finals for the World Television title tournament right here tonight. That's right, I said semi-finals! James J. Dillon has officially restructured the tournament after last weeks bye."
::Larry Zbysko:: "Well, Mike, with all due respect to Dillon, I think this "restructure" is nothing more than a screw job. I don't know who Dillon's backing in this tournament, but I smell a rat."
::Mike Tenay:: "By order of the Vice President of Talent, Dillon has set up a four way between Ted Dibiase, Jr., Teddy Hart, Balls Mahoney, and "Hollywood" Howie Banks. The winner of that match will go on to face off against the winner of David Flair and Brock Lesnar."
::Larry Zbysko:: "It's definately an interesting turn of events. You have a guy like Brock Lesnar, a former heavyweight champion. A great amateur background. A football background. And a mixed martial arts background. He's young, he's strong, and most importantly, he says he's hungry. And then in the other corner you have David Flair. Now hold up, let me finish Mike. While that may sound like an insult to some of the people out there. But let me just clear some things up. Not knocking anything Lesnar has done. But if you look close at David you'll notice one thing in his repetoire. He ...is...a ..Flair."
::Mike Tenay:: "I have to agree with you Larry. David was raised around guys like Arn and Ole Anderson. Barry Windham. Tully Blanchard. And of course, Ric Flair. The Nature Boy."
::Larry Zbysko:: "While alot of people today don't want to pay homage to the fore fathers of wrestling, let me put it to you like this. I was one of those men. I wrestled every man you just named Mike. And these guys weren't push overs. You take a collective unit of talent like that and you pour that knowledge into someone that can mold and craft that tool into a weapon and you have yourself a serious contender.
If Brock Lesnar thinks for one moment that he's going to roll over David Flair, he's seriously setting himself up for a fall."
::Mike Tenay:: "I totally agree. David Flair has a chance as great as anyone in this tournament. Not just because of his background, but because he's determined to prove that he can carry the Flair name."
::Larry Zybsko:: "We'll definately find out here tonight."
::Mike Tenay:: "Fans, let's head down to ringside for the first match of the night!"
